How To Start Fast

Welcome! As a new member in Careington Dental Plan ("500 Series"), you should receive your new Dental Plan Membership packet in about 10 business days.

Remember, you do not need to wait for the mail to start using your dental plan immediately.

After joining online or by telephone, you are sent a Temporary Dental Plan ID by e-mail within 30 minutes. Print this Temporary ID and take it on your first visit.

Fast Start Tip 1: When making your first appointment, confirm the dental office is a current Careington provider and is accepting new patients.

Fast Start Tip 2: Print your temporary e-mail ID card and take on your first dental visit. This card contains a telephone number that the dental office can call to verify your membership immediately.

Fast Start Tip 3: We suggest that you print a copy of the full Schedule of Discounts for your State and take it with you on your first visit to be sure you are being billed properly.

Quick Start Check-List:

1. Confirm that the dental office accepts "Careington" and is accepting new patients.
2. Print and take a copy of your dental plan temporary e-mail ID.
3. Print and take a copy of your State's Schedule of Discounts.

Vision & Rx Plans:  You may start using the Vision Plan (included) and Prescription Plan (optional) once your ID Cards arrive via mail.
