How It Works

1. Find a provider in your area (select from over 85,000 Plan Dentists). We recommend calling the dental office first to (1) confirm they continue to accept Careington, and (2) they can see you for an emergency (usually acute pain) in a very timely manner.
   
   
2. Apply online. You will receive a Careington Temporary ID by e-mail in about 30 minutes (check your e-mail).
   
   
3. Schedule your dentist appointment with a Careington Provider as soon as possible during their normal business hours.
   
   
4. Take your Careington Temporary ID with you to your appointment.
   
   
5. Take a copy of the Discount Fee Schedule for your State to be sure you are being charged accordingly.
